Man With No Palate Enjoys Eating 95 Meals At Olive Garden In 7 weeks
A while back, we shared a story about a brave blogger named Vino who decided to put Olive Garden’s $100 Never Ending Pasta Pass to the test by eating nothing but the chain’s monstrous bowls of pasta for a whopping seven weeks.
According to Vino’s Twitter page, he’s still going strong and hasn’t missed a day.
But apparently, Vino isn’t the only brave soul on the Olive Garden diet. A man named Alan Martin has committed himself to a similar challenge, dining at the eatery twice a day for six weeks (so far).
Over the past month-and-a-half, Martin has consumed 95 meals at the Italian chain.
The North Carolina resident says,
I would love to be the person that ate the most of the 1,000 people [that bought the pass]. That would be a good contest to win. Because that means I got the most value out of the card of anyone in the United States.
While Vino might have Martin beat by a week, the latter is still the clear winner here: He actually enjoys Olive Garden’s food.
And that amazes us more than the carb-filled challenge itself.
