Webster defines love as “a feeling of strong or constant affection for a person.”

However, that definition hardly does the explosive warm andfuzzies in our hearts justice when it comes to describingour feelings for the person we love.

For Andrew Hou, he felt that words truly fell short when it came to defining the way he felt about his girlfriend, Kate. So the artist from Seoul, Korea, decided to portray their love story in the way he knew bestthrough pictures.

The journey started back in 2010 as a means of displaying personal affection for his now wife, but he never knew that his art would resonate with so many. In 2011, he created HJ-Storyto share the work more publicly, and it has since spread like wildfire across the web.

“During work, I’d pretend to be working and create these tiny doodles and send [them] to her via the phone,” Hou told Upworthyof the beginnings of HJ-Story.

Today, those “silly, sappy doodles” as he calls them have touched the hearts of millions around the world.

Check out a few of his many works of art below. They’re sure to give ya all the feels…
