“Game Change,” the HBO film based on the 2008 presidential campaign and the 2010 book of the same name, was a monster at this morning’s Emmy nominations.

The film is up for “Outstanding Miniseries or Movie,” while stars Julianne Moore, Woody Harrelson, Ed Harris, and Sarah Paulson were nominated for their portrayals of Sarah Palin, Steve Schmidt, Sen. John McCain, and Nicolle Wallace, respectively.

HBO’s smash was honored with 12 total nominations.
